The Shattering

Long time ago, this whole world TASTED of something. Real flavor.

Wild color. There was a Forge at the center of it all, the SourForge, and everything good came out of it.

Then the Borelords smashed it. Shattered it into pieces and scattered the Shards across the continent so nobody could ever put it back together.

Why? Because grey is CHEAP.
Grey is easy to sell.

A world that's forgotten what flavor tastes like will eat whatever sludge you hand it and say THANK YOU.

They drained the cities. Numbered dyes. Corn syrup crimes. Candy that does nothing but make you tired.

And everyone just... let it happen. Generations of it.
Until people genuinely believed it always tasted this way.

The Quest

So I went and got the Shards back.
ALL of them.

Out of Borelord vaults. Out of frozen lakes. Out of thickets that tried to EAT me, I'm still pulling thorns out of my tail, thanks for asking.

Took me longer than I'll ever admit. Nearly didn't make it back more than once.

(If you want the whole bloody saga, every fight, every shard, that's a different story. That's the GAME. Go play it. I look very heroic in it.)

But I got them. I brought them home. And I rebuilt the thing they swore could never be rebuilt.

Present Day

The Forge is LIT. Right now. Beneath your feet, under the stump, the SourForge is burning and I am making real candy out of real things for the first time in centuries.

Every batch I pour pushes the grey back a little further. The cities are still theirs.

The Borelords are still up there, still in charge, still pretending none of this is happening.
The fight's not over. Not even close.

But the Forge is mine again. And now there's a door open to YOUR side, same problem over there, same grey sludge in a shinier wrapper.

So. Same fight. You in?

The Ingredients

AH, the barrel. Good eye. THIS is where everything starts.

Real fruit, purée, juice, the actual berry.

Not 'fruit flavor,' not some chemical that was TOLD what strawberry tastes like and got it wrong. The whole idea is you taste a thing that GREW.

And the color? Real plants, real sources. You know how the grey-factory hacks make red? A NUMBER. Number forty.

They gave a color a SERIAL CODE and called it food.

Not in MY barrel. Less sugar, bigger flavor, zero numbered dye paste. That's the whole trick. Now go taste what it turns into.
