Welcome to SourBoys! WE are doing our best to bring back the authentic old ways of making candy. The way it was meant to be made. Founded by Caleb (oompaville) and Kristina (KallMeKris) Phelps, our candy company operates from the heart of a small Texas town, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern quality standards.
I, Caleb started the company originally, but have been co-running it since 2024 with my now wife, Kristina!
What Makes Us Different
Less Sugar, More Flavor
Our sour candies contain significantly less sugar than leading sour brands without compromising on the sometimes intense, mouth-puckering experience you crave. We achieve this through careful ingredient selection and our traditional candy-making process. We have sweet flavors, all the way to high level sour!
The Old-Fashioned Way
We make our candy the old way (we use kettles and a licorice style manufacturing process) – with patience, precision, and real ingredients. No nasty sugar-free substitutes, no artificial nonsense. Just pure, authentic candy crafted with care.
Real Ingredients Only
Every piece of SourBoys candy is made without artificial dyes or flavors. For the record, we didn't need to be legally forced to do this. This is how we started!

In our small Texas facility, real people craft every batch by hand. This isn't factory-line production – it's artisanal candy making where attention to detail and quality control happen at every step.
